The Information Technology Systems Team will be applying Windows security patches to a number of systems starting at 6pm on Monday 23 April 2018. A restart is required for this task, so users may experience a brief outage to the following applications/services during the maintenance period:

Application Authentication Services
GoAnywhere
My Housing / My Dining
OnBase (Document Management services)
Transcript Requests
Shared folders/Home folders

Scheduled - During the maintenance window multiple reboots of the firewall will occur. Most services will NOT be impacted as failover to the secondary unit will happen. However services using persistent TCP connections (i.e., telnet, SSH) may be interrupted. This would only be for connections through the firewall (i.e., Off-campus to ServerNet, Campus to ServerNet, Campus to Off-Campus).

Scheduled - Upgrades will be applied to Banner General, Advancement, and Financial Aid on Monday, April 16 beginning at 6 pm. During the installation of the upgrades MAX, Banner 8, and Banner 9 will be unavailable. MAX and Banner 9 are expected to be back online by 8 pm. Banner 8 will be unavailable until midnight.

Resolved - The Banner 9 issue has been resolved.

Investigating - After signing into Banner 9, any attempt to access a form results in a spinning icon that does not resolve. IT personnel are investigating the issue. In the meantime, Banner 8 is working properly so it may be used until the issue is resolved.

Identified - The Information Technology Systems Team will be performing emergency maintenance on the MUGen2 server. This server handles RicohDocs (OnBase scanning from Ricoh copiers) and some employee home drives (H drives). Users utilizing these services will encounter brief and intermittent delays tonight between 6-8pm.
