Windows Server OS Patching Sep 24, 18:00-22:00 EDT
The Information Technology Systems Team will be applying Windows security patches to a number of systems starting at 6pm on Monday 24 September 2018. A restart is required for this task; therefore users may experience a brief outage to the following applications/services during the maintenance period:

Application Authentication Services
GoAnywhere
My Housing / My Dining
Transcript Requests
Shared folders/Home folders

Resolved - Issue has been resolved by making a small change to the code. URLs are now returning as expected.

Identified - The links returned on the Millersville website search are broken and are returning users to the search page again. We are working to resolve the problem.

Scheduled - The Information Technology Systems Team will be applying security updates to the Load Balancer on Monday 10 September starting at 6pm. Availability of services should not be impacted, due to the presence of redundant Load Balancers. Patches will be applied to each Load Balancer separately. Services which utilize the Load Balancer include the following:
* Banner
* Luminis
* Wiki
* Git
* MUReporting (epm11)
* Housing Director

Monitoring - An issue was discovered where Listserv was accepting and queuing emails, however email delivery was being delayed. This incident has been resolved. All outgoing email will be delayed and delivered over the next couple of hours. The Systems Team will be monitoring the email queue until all delayed messages are successfully delivered.

Scheduled - Wireless APs for ResNet will be migrated from a temporary controller to a permanent controller. This should result in a short disruption of wireless service to ResNet. The interruption should only last for a few minutes.
